Who: Newt Geiszler, Kit Peddler and YOU
Where: Newt's clinic in the shady part of China town that Newt sort of lives in.
When: Pretty much whenever. The clinic is open five days a week, and this is a catchall.
What: Newt's clinic is still open for all wayward aliens, robots and cyborgs to be seen to without questions for free. Kit is his rude secretary hacker who is also pretty good (better) at fixing up the cyborgs.
Warnings: Bullshit science and Newt is a warning on his own, but will update if medical stuff happens.
[there's a few thread-starters within, but please feel free to hit this up!! The clinic's location is easy to get a hold of for anyone who needs it and a google search of Newt will reveal that he's actually really great at what he does and has lots of credibility as well as 6 pHDs. Back and Post dating is fine, just let me know!]

Newt and Ratchet
So Newt's kept his ear to the ground, abusing his access levels at CONDOR a little to enquire if anything had been done about the whole 'Robot Mess', but he'd just gotten bureaucratic bullshitting back. Only to be expected since he's been out of the loop for way longer than he'd like to admit, but it's still so frustrating. He's even considering on letting Kit actually try and hack their comms (she probably already has but just hasn't told him).
In any case, the curiosity and fascination with the Cybertronian race has him distracted enough that he's had to start bringing his work home with him, so here Newt is fiddling with a incredibly intricate robotic hand whilst listening to loud rock music and nursing a strong cup of coffee. Sleep was for nerds. Or well, for normal people. There are a few sketches of what he can remember of Orion's audio input sensors scattered across the desk that he's dug out to ponder over as he fixes the tension in the prosthetic, causing it to flex intermittently in his own hands. Giving a groan, he pushes it aside and picks up one of the rushed sketches, burying his head in his hand with the screwdriver, face scrunching.
How did it even work? How was there such a thing as biological metal? Did they eat ore or something else? How do they reproduce? Does a factory make them? Did they have squishy parts inside like a dalek from Doctor Who or were they entirely metal?
It's enough to bug the hell out of him and Newt doubts he's actually going to get any good work done with these questions running around in that huge head of his.]

Newt and Kit
But the glare of the screen in the dim room is getting to him, and he has to wheel the chair away and nurse his coffee cup, looking to Kit as she finishes cleaning the examination bed from the last client. Not that they got many, but still. He considers her for a moment, and then picks up his phone to send his colleague a text to say he'll get to the paper corrections in the morning (there are many corrections, don't think there aren't) and slurps at his coffee again.]
I always forget how good you are at that stuff.

So, having arranged with Vanessa for her to get to this clinic, she hurries from car to door as quickly as she can, nervously adjusting the goggles covering her eyes (she really hopes that this disguise is actually effective enough to keep attention off her until she gets inside - she's not really sure, but covering every inch of her skin better have been worth it). She ducks inside, probably not looking nearly as inconspicuous as she would like to.]

[The step between getting inside and actually talking to anyone is a bit of a big one though, and he kind of opts for hovering awkwardly because apparently TRIDENT also took his social skills away from him.]

Except his demeanour is vastly different, now. All of that shy nervousness that came along with him the first few times he interacted with Newt are gone and replaced with a grim sort of formality. He arrives in the doorway, nods in acknowledgement upon seeing that Newt is there, and announces himself.]

IN BAELHEIT'S OFFICE
He's arranged a meeting with Newt in his office at Mintaka, and when Newt finally enters he rises from his desk, not quite smiling but welcoming him in with a gesture of his hand. "Dr. Geiszler, please -- have a seat."
