come one come all to newts chop shop

Who: Newt Geiszler, Kit Peddler and YOU
Where: Newt's clinic in the shady part of China town that Newt sort of lives in.
When: Pretty much whenever. The clinic is open five days a week, and this is a catchall.
What: Newt's clinic is still open for all wayward aliens, robots and cyborgs to be seen to without questions for free. Kit is his rude secretary hacker who is also pretty good (better) at fixing up the cyborgs.
Warnings: Bullshit science and Newt is a warning on his own, but will update if medical stuff happens.

[there's a few thread-starters within, but please feel free to hit this up!! The clinic's location is easy to get a hold of for anyone who needs it and a google search of Newt will reveal that he's actually really great at what he does and has lots of credibility as well as 6 pHDs. Back and Post dating is fine, just let me know!]

[Unfortunately he did not account for just how twitchy Myaxx is. It is very important to note that she agreed to having a needle jabbed into her arm, not to contact between your hand and her hand.]

So they've just got one person focusing on interplanetary interactions? Wow. Guess it's good for us that at least you're around, then.

[It's not really presented as a compliment so much as a statement of fact, but hey. Take it or leave it.]

[For someone who doesn't technically have eyebrows, Myaxx does a fantastic job of giving the impression of raising one dubiously.] I would certainly hope not. I didn't come here to be taken apart.

Good. [She picks up her bracer again and starts turning it over in her hands, trying to find the mechanisms to re-secure it and muttering to herself.] Why do they always make these so hard to put back on, who designs these things...

...Eh, why not. Not like putting it back on is working right now anyway. [She may want to take a look at the mechanisms herself later; come to think of it, there's no reason to assume the crash wouldn't have knocked those out of place.

She hands Newt the piece - a contoured tube of red metal, opened up lengthwise along a seam, with hinged pieces placed at the wrist and elbow. Ciruitry and sensors run along the interior, protected under a clear, smooth coating.]
It's built to only open up with exactly the right pressure application, and it only closes properly with a different one. Which, for some reason, is always nearly impossible to get.
