What: That talking sports car who is actually a giant space robot people have been talking about lately is out and about in L.A., being way less discreet than a Decepticon should.
Warnings: Inappropriately sensual is Knock Out's game. Approach with caution.

It's been only a few weeks since Knock Out arrived in L.A. after an extended tour in Europe, but he likes it already. He hadn't expected the vehicles around here to measure up to the ones he'd grown fond of in Italy and Germany, but the luxury car expo he'd tracked in L.A. had been a sight to behold. Admiring the glossy, flawless finishes on all of those perfect automobiles had nearly had him in fits of jealousy.

And the roads here. Knock Out can drive for miles, endless stretches of black asphalt that positively sing under his tires for hours on end. Yes, he thinks he could get used to this...he could stand to stay here for awhile.

Five years lounging around on Earth has made him slightly careless, and he hasn't been as discreet as he ought to be. But it's hard to contain himself when there's so much entertainment to be had on this planet. He can be found screaming down the California highways or cruising around the city -- occasionally, he'll send his holomatter avatar out to interact with the local life forms.

"First time for everything." He replied, shouting a little over the noise of the wind and the car's engine. He leaned forward, pulling ahead of Knockout. This as a race after all.

Well, that's motivating. Knock Out's engines positively roar as he speeds along the road, lagging just behind Tron and his light cycle. The challenge is only fun if he can win -- although he doesn't mind the rear view of the light cycle for now. It's certainly an attractive vehicle.

Tron glanced back, wondering if the car was just lagging for show. He pulled back into a wheelie before landing hard and revving his engine, pulling further ahead of a Knock Out. A pretty clear challenge if there ever was one.

Knock Out really punches it, kicking up dirt and dust that's scattered on the road as he pulls forward -- a rock on the road gets caught up in his tires as he screeches over it, not enough to slow Knock Out down any, but when it's flung from his treads it rockets in Tron's direction, lodging itself in the tire of his light cycle.

Tron barely suppressed a curse as his back tire jammed and started skidding, managing to stay on his bike when the quick decelaration threw him forward. The cycle jerked erratically as he tried to keep it under control and keep from crashing, but he soon realized whatever had happened wasn't going to work itself out.

He deactivated the bike, black paneling derezzing to the glowing wireframe, a few glowing voxels falling off the back tire as well as the rock that had lodged in the cylinders. As the bike lost solidity, Tron threw himself forward off the frame, managing a rough roll as the baton went skittering down the road. He stood up stiffly, glancing down the road to see if his competitor would notice his sudden stop.

Knock Out screeches to a halt when he realizes his opponent has badly spun out, pulling back to Tron and circling slowly around him, almost contemplatively. Where had the bike gone? Curious.

"What happened to your ride?" Knock Out calls, his voice a mix of genuine curiosity and amusement. "Mm, too bad...that was a good race. Better than I've had in a while."
