(no subject)

Who: Signless and the Disciple. MAYBE OTHERS?
When: At some point when Signless is in CONDOR jail.
What: The Disciple gets the chance to see Signless while he's imprisoned. Thankfully he isn't threatening to kill anyone.
Warnings: Signless.

Signless has taken his imprisonment passively, CONDOR has noted that much. After the initial struggle, his resistance to the idea seemed to dull down almost immediately, though they still don't consider him a safe subject in the slightest. He's unpredictable, and all psych evaluations have suggested that he is more than a little unhinged.

He knows when someone is going to talk to him, because they seem to move him when he does. They handle him very cautiously, even though his hands are bound and his psionics are locked away with a suppression collar.

This was a step in the right direction.

Disciple hated the idea of Signless being locked and chained up, but at the very least this meant that he was no longer with Her. Getting him away from that influence had been the most important thing, and this way they could start on the path to healing.

Those were the things that the olive troll focused on when it came to her former lover. She knew not where her own feelings lay. Those were too messy, too complicated, too upsetting. And all things considered it felt wrong to think about them when his own mental and emotional well being was at such risk. Addressing them would probably be just as trying for him as it would be for her.

Yet one thing still remained, and that was her loyalty and love. The exact nature of that love was debatable, but it was love nonetheless. So when she felt he had had enough time to breath, she came to visit him. She was dressed in a simple black sweater and pants, hair pulled back in a pony tail.

"Signless? It's me."

The reaction fills the Disciple with conflicted emotions as well. It's still hard to see him like this, after all this time, but that her presence doesn't send him into a fury or completely unbalances him is good.

She thinks.

The olive troll smiles faintly, closing the door behind her and taking a seat. To see him shackled in such a manner brings back memories she wishes she could forget, but then her memories have always been unfailing. A blessing, and in this particular case, a curse.

"They haven't been maltreating you, I hope?" Beyond the restraints. Di didn't like them, but she understood the need for them.
