Who: Rikki Barnes and YOU!!
Where: Trailblazers Dorms
When: Morning
What: Rikki's moving in, and trying not to be sad and sulky and homesick.
Warnings: Cranky, sleep-deprived young adult, possible teenage angst
Rikki's been on and off of planes for the past twelve hours, and it shows - she's in rumpled clothes with messy hair, red-eyed with dark circles under her eyes and a weary glare with no real force behind it, just cranky exhaustion. She's just glad she didn't bring too much luggage to drag around: just her backpack, and a military-issue duffel bag not even fully stuffed with clothes, with her uniform buried at the bottom.
As she slides out of the cab that delivered her from the airport, she's too tired to swing the duffel up onto her shoulder. She just lets it drag across the sidewalk, because what the hell are military-issue bags good for if you can't abuse them a little?
She actually gets a few steps, with the cab already pulling away, before she stops and realizes this building doesn't look like any superhero headquarters she's ever seen. It doesn't look very official at all, actually. Is she even in the right place?
