Who: Tommy Shepherd and Aña Corazon
Where: The Hobo Hovel (their shitty warehouse squat)
When: Nowish!
What: So Tommy and Aña sort of made out but then they had a kid to look after so it wasn't really discussed. Time to talk about FEELS.
Warnings: FEELS.
[It's not unusual for Tommy to get back to their place to it being empty. Aña's been going to a doctor recently to get her arm back into working order, so he figures she's just there, and Matilda... Well, he's not entirely sure where she went, but she has his cell number and knows how to get hold of him if she was in trouble. Still, he peers around the empty warehouse, hands full of groceries.]
Yo, anyone here? [His voice echoes a little off the walls, and Tommy just gives a shrug before hopping through the broken window, dragging the bags with him, so he can put them down and raid their contents.
He's been doing odd jobs all day all over the city--and one outside of it--and is currently running on empty. But before he starts refuelling, he pulls the small amount of cash he'd earned that day and goes over to a boarded up part of the far wall, pulling one of the strips of board free. Inside, there's a jar with a wad of cash tied up with a rubber band and short change, and Tommy adds to it, yawning a little. Hopefully soon they'd be able to get out of this shitty place and into somewhere with working plumbing.
With that all settled, he pulls out a huge bag of chips, a can of coke and a tray of cupcakes out of the groceries and flops down on their dingy sofa, awaiting his ladies' return.]
Man, I wish we had a freaking TV.

Yeah, well. I need Newt to do some work on my arm, anyway, it was all crusty and pussy inside when he cracked it open the first time and he's still cleaning it up.
no subject
Yeesh, thanks for the mental image there.
[He sobers a little though, looking up at her as if he's trying to get a good read on her.]
Y'know you don't have to do it, right? You can take time off.
no subject
[ She rolls her eyes, in large part because she's trying to... avoid talking about this. It's not that she doesn't trust him or value his opinion, but she is just not up for this talk right now. Nope. Not with him, anyway, he's biased. ]
Duh, which is why I'm not doing any heroing right now. Can we stop being depressing and go back to making out or whatever?
[...mouth, that was NOT what she meant to say]
no subject
[But then she continues and he stares at her for a few seconds. They have't really had a chance to even address what had happened that night. He'd not even been sure it had happened.]
--Uh, yeah okay, sure. [He swivels a little on the couch so she can climb ontop if she wants. He's not gonna pass up makeouts okay.]
no subject
Even if it is really awkward just kind of climbing into his lap and kissing him
It's still really nice. ]
no subject
Okay, Thomas, focus. You have a hot woman in your lap making out with you and all you can do is worry about her. What are you, her Mom? ... Ew, gross.
Anyway.
He shifts a little underneath her to get more comfortable, his hands moving to her hips, not really sure where to put them. He ends up going for her waist to tug her closer as he kisses her back.]
no subject
And wondering why she's making out with him in the first place and what they're even doing and what it means.
The last thought brings her up short after a couple of minutes and she pushes back, still straddling his lap, to look at him oddly]
What are we doing?
no subject
I dunno, it was your idea.
no subject
[She rolls off his lap, back to sitting next to him, frowning a little]
What is this? Are we dating now, or... just making out for the hell of it, or what?
no subject
--Well, uh. [He looks over to her. God this is awkward.]
We did kinda just adopt a kid?
no subject
Oh wow. Yeah. Yeah, we kind of did, didn't we?
no subject
She has a point though. What are they? Definitely not dating, that's for sure.]
--Look. I mean. You're great, but. [How do you not-dump a person?]
no subject
[she's teasing, but she also sounds really relieved] Gracias a Dios, I thought it was just me.
no subject
--Uh, why not? Have you seen my ass?
[He gives her a bit of a grin, before thinking for a moment.]
It's weird. It's like you're family. I'm not gonna go tap my sister. [a pause.] Not that I know what actually having a family is like, but I'm gonna guess it's like this.
no subject
[but then she grins back at him and shrugs]
It was just me and my dad, but... other than the fact that he was my dad and I never tried making out with him 'cause ew? It's pretty much like this.
no subject
I think I like you better as a sister, than a girlfriend.
no subject
Good, because I think I like you better as a brother.
[Here, Tommy, have a hug. You don't have a choice]
no subject
You're not gonna cry on me, are you?
no subject
[you do not see her eyes getting a little sparkly with the couple of tears she will NOT shed, that is a lie]
no subject
Sure. Want another cupcake?
no subject
no subject
Oh man, did I tell you about the random lady who thought I was someone from Alpha Force?
