SUPER BARBECUE SUPER BARBECUE SUPER BARBECUE [open as heck]
Who: SUPER HEROES!!!!!
Where: Ernest E. Debs Regional Park!
When: Sunday!
What: SUPER BARBECUE
Warnings: Superheroes...

It's a pleasant evening at Ernest E. Debs Regional Park, just a couple miles from downtown LA, which can be seen through the haze. Late March means spring is just arriving in LA and the trees are just starting to bud. Unfortunately, the grass is still kind of dead and dry.
The barbecue and picnic area isn't too busy, though the park does have the usual assortment of joggers, dog walkers, and cyclists. There are some balloons tied to picnic tables, and strung between two trees is a very homemade "SUPER BBQ" banner, courtesy of Hulkling and Starbreaker. There's still glitter glue on Milly's apartment floor. There's another posterboard with the rules written on it in big bold sharpie letters nearby, just in case anyone forgets:
[OKAY GUYS!!! mingle! have fun! maybe some THINGS WILL HAPPEN, whoooo knows!]

- Keep your weapons holstered please.
- Do not trash the park!
- ABSOLUTELY NO FIGHTING
- Anyone caught fighting will be asked to leave!
- Really don't be a jerk!

She catches sight of Starscream's avatar and it takes her only moments to recognize her. At first her gut reaction is anxiety, horror -- she hasn't forgotten the solid beatdown she'd received from him -- but then her eyes flash, narrowed in anger. Even if his robot-and-jet combo self is around here, this park is full of superheroes. There's no way he'd try anything here, and even if he did, he wouldn't stand a chance. She's pretty sure she could take him out with Teddy's help, at least. And that's when she draws herself up and starts marching right for his avatar.

Don't panic, don't panic.
"Can I help you with something, uh... young lady?" he says confusedly, eyes flitting about nervously for some means of escape or alerting backup if it becomes necessary.

Far from the girl who'd cried and begged Starscream not to take the data drive, Milly's confidence is bolstered by the crowd of superheroes around them. Like he could do anything here without raising a fuss. And she's got a whole lot of friends here. Ha! Let's see who makes who cry now.
"What are you doing here, anyway? Don't you know this is a party for heroes? As in, not for evil creeps like you?"
