Who: Vanessa Goldpaw and Myaxx
Where: IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WOODS
When: Following this exchange
What: Something like a job interview
Warnings: None probably

Being asked by an internet stranger to meet at a remote location in the woods – and, moreover, to come alone – raises more than a few red flags for Vanessa – but, well, she has never been very afraid to take risks. Her life has, so far, been more or less one success after another, and so she tends to assume, for better or worse, that the really bad things happen to other people.

Anyway, she reasons, if someone was looking specifically to lure her into a trap, they would have done something more specific and less haphazard than a few dubiously phrased posts on miscellaneous message boards – and if it's someone looking to ensnare just any unfortunate individual curious about the obvious suggestion of aliens, they're going to be surprised when they find themselves dealing with a confident shapeshifter with a good bit of experimental high tech weaponry tucked away about her person.

She reaches the coordinates a little while after sending off a quick reply to say she's on her way, driving as far as she can and then walking the rest. She kind of wishes she'd worn shoes. She tends not to bother with them at all (she can commission expensive custom shoes for her hindpaws all she likes, but she's never really liked how any of them end up looking), but then she doesn't usually have to walk across leaf-strewn, mulchy forest floor...

She's visibly relieved to hear that (if only based on her expression shifting into a more relaxed variety of frown); the possible arrival of someone who may know about her history is still a definite threat, but it at least sounds like on-world law enforcement shouldn't be too much of an issue.

"Better known," she replies. For now, it looks like she can keep considering communication to be her main problem here.
