Who: Nessa Llewellyn and YOU
Where: Trailblazers gym, downtown LA and the outskirts of the city.
When: A few days after the sinkhole.
What: A day in the life of Nessa. With no immediate threats and nothing happening with the sinkhole, Nessa tries to busy herself as usual.
Warnings: Potential gore for the last one.

Nessa pauses, glancing up.

"Yeah, I met him," she pauses, giving a small smile. "He kinda reminds me of Karkat when he furrst got here, just... way more...," she scrunches up her nose.

"TRIDENT."

"TRIDENT seems to have that effect on people..." Katniss says, with a clear edge of distaste. She finds Sollux fairly unapproachable, but at the same time, she deeply resents the idea of what's been done there.

"But I doubt that's everything Karkat needs in a friend right now, Nes'," she adds, glancing up at her.

Nessa watches Katniss carefully, and gives a small nod, playing with one of the wing feathers between her fingers. She knows she's probably just overreacting, but the concern is still there.

"Yeah, I know. I guess because he's not really been around since Sollux got here," she pauses, worrying her bottom lip. "Now that Alternians he knows are here, why would he hang out with humans? I mean, that sounds totally stupid and junk, I guess I'm just feeling like I haven't seen him in aggges and I'm trying to figure out why."

She gives Katniss a weak smile. "Plus I totally kinda persuaded Karkat to come out to look at the sink hole and Sollux got out so he probably doesn't wanna see me now anyway."

"Ah," she says, smiling a little back as she plucks a few more feathers from her bird. "I was wondering why he changed his mind when he'd spent the last half hour trying to keep me from going."

She shrugs a shoulder.

"Just give him some time. He's got a lot on his plate."

She gives Katniss a sheepish smile. "What can I say, I'm too cute to say no to," she says, poking the feather she'd been playing with in her mess of hair.

"Yeah, I guess! I'm being purrty silly," she shrugs. "Coming out here helped. Thanks, 'niss."
