LOST HUMAN, kind of small, has glasses and tattoos [open]
Who: Myaxx and YOU; Myaxx and Newt
Where: Around L.A., also the hospital
When: now-ish??
What: Myaxx is looking for a MISSING HUMAN
Warnings: Myaxx is a sarcastic loser
[A - Around L.A, OPEN]
There is a seven-foot-tall squid alien wandering around Los Angeles. She is evidently not really used to walking around here by herself, judging her frequent checking of maps and angry muttering and general discomfort, but there's little about her behavior to suggest that she actually isn't supposed to be here so much as that she's not accustomed to it. Except, perhaps, for the occasional, vaguely suspicious stares she keeps shooting at other aliens.
Normally, Myaxx would not be wandering around in broad daylight by herself, because she's really still not totally comfortable here. But she doesn't have much of a choice, because it's hard not to notice when the guy whose home/workplace you're living in suddenly stops showing up. And when that guy also happens to be one of the only... friends, she guesses, it feels weird to use that word... that you've goton the planet anywhere, it's hard not to want to know what's going on.
And, without access to any of the scanners or surveillance networks she would normally use for something like this, she's having to try a somewhat less efficient means of finding him. She assumes he's just off messing around with some work thing outside of the clinic, but it doesn't hurt to check.
Every so often she'll actually approach someone, usually human but occasionally alien, apparently chosen at random, and her question is always the same. "Do you know Newton Geiszler?"
[B - Hospital, closed to Newt]
It took a couple minutes to convince the hospital staff that Myaxx's visible rage did not make her any sort of danger to any patients, and even then they made her wait in the lobby until she calmed down (that is to say, until she started pretending to be calm).
Of course, the moment she actually gets into the hospital room, it's pretty obvious that the whole "not being incredibly ticked off" thing is largely an act. "Newt! What is wrong with you, what were you thinking?!"

Of course, waking up in a hospital bed is how he realised that maybe he wasn't as young as he used to be. And the mania didn't exactly help either.
He's in one of those gross hospital gowns, an IV full of god knows what, strung up to his wrist and the only reason he's not scrabbled it out of his veins is because one of the nurses keeps threatening to stop bring him pudding cups. He's not really sure how long he's been here--coming out of an episode was always a blur, his body exhausted and spent and everything tended to merge into one big clusterfuck--but he knows it's been at least a day or two. He has no idea how long his episode before that was though. But the hospital had zero bars apparently, no matter how much he tapped at his phone in between sleeping.
He's sleeping when Myaxx charges in, and yelps, jumping half a mile. He looks like a wreck, eyes heavy with bags, his face gaunt from where he's not been eating much. He's not wearing his glasses, but he knows exactly who just burst into his room.
"Myaxx? Jeez, not so loud, you know this is a hospital, right?"

I MEAN 'A'
He doesn't recognise the species of the person - which isn't that much of a surprise; he doesn't recognise any of the species on this planet - but more importantly, she looks completely different from any of the others he's seen. It might be worth finding out before she wanders off.
"Hey,you look like you're....not from around," he realises as soon as it's out of his mouth how offensive that sounds. "...here."
