His ears droop a little – it doesn't take a genius to work out that the fact that he's suddenly crawling with fellow Alternians is probably what's precipitated this, and he can't help feeling kind of bad, even though he knows this isn't his fault. There's that little nudge of resentment, deep down, that what's saddening her is her inability to leave him and all their other mutual friends for ever, but he can understand it; sometimes he thinks if he could go back to Alternia without being murdered, even if everything else about it was still terrible, he'd drop everything he's gained here on Earth in an instant.
