ROCK'EM SOCK'EM ROBOTS [BIG OPEN FIGHT LOG]

Who: Signless, Robots, and YOU
Where: City Hall, and all over downtown LA.
When: April 14th
What: Signless bates the Cybetronians into having a big fight in downtown LA while attempting to get a valuable artifact. Earth civilians and superheroes are SUPER WELCOME to notice the fuss and try to stop the fighting/safe people from collateral damage.
Warnings: SUDDENLY ROBOT ULTRAVIOLENCE

Signless leaves himself, and the hammer, visible at first. He wants them to see him, to know that the battle is imminent - and with any luck, a conflict will start. He'll do his best to disappear and keep them hunting for him as as long as possible after he's initially been spotted. Maximum collateral damage is his goal.

It also helps that he's an empath. He'll be taking whatever opportunities he can to agitate people's emotions, whether it be anger, panic, or fear, in the attempt to make ever more chaos.

This is a party style log, meaning you can make you own threads and scenarios. Signless will be around with the hammer. LET'S MAKE THIS AS BIG OF A CLUSTERFUCK AS POSSIBLE, GUYS.

A few ways of turning this against the Autobots cross Megatron's mind, but at this point the whole making them look bad by goading them into initiating a public conflict seems small and worthless and petty. He needs the Forge, and he needs this wretched AI to stop talking to him about Earth criminal charges.

Megatron weighs his options for a moment. There is, of course, no way he can order the Decepticons to withdraw. If he does, the Autobots will not hesitate to seize the Forge.

He frowns, showing fangs. "And what of the Autobots? Are they to be expelled from the city on the same charges?"

"Yes. If necessary, the artifact that is the source of this conflict will be destroyed." Legion's flaps flare. "It is clear neither faction can be trusted with self-restraint."

[bigfuckinggun]

"...I see," Megatron growls, lip curling in displeasure. "The Forge of Solus Prime is a priceless Cybertronian artefact; I cannot allow it to be destroyed. If I have your word you will not damage the Forge, and that the Autobots will be similarly expelled – I will order my Decepticons to retreat."

He intends no such thing.

"Your promises are no longer trustworthy." The sound of helicopter blades whirring in the distance is clearly audible. "You will not be given further chances to negotiate during this battle."

Legion drops out of the sky and onto the ground next to Megatron's foot; they lower its weight and attempt to yank his leg out from underneath him.

Megatron's cannon is already powering up as Legion starts to reply; he hadn't bought himself quite as much time as he would have liked, but that's nothing he can't work with. He fires as Legion lands, and again as they go for his leg; the sudden loss of equilibrium throws both shots off, but narrowly – and Legion's close enough now that Megatron can grab for them as he falls instead, a sudden lunge to either seize and hurl the platform or simply swat them away.

There's not enough time to escape Megatron's grasp, so the consensus moves to plan B; vent heat buildup and excess shield energy through the platform exterior. Electricity and plasma arc from around their surface into Megatron's hand, at temperatures hot enough to dissociate most life-forms.
