Wanda winces too, and her expression turns sympathetic. She'd known Captain Victory. Not well, but the hero community was small and they had teamed up a few times in the '00s. Plus he'd been Clint's best friend, and he'd taken Cap's death hard. Wanda had known he had a teenage sidekick, but she hadn't heard she'd come to LA.

Wanda is no stranger to loss. Alpha Force has had its share of casualties over the years, and her personal life hasn't exactly been perfect either. But it hurts her heart to see someone so young suffer the death of a mentor like that. She knows what it's like to lose a parental figure.
