He's not really sure what to make of that reaction. As far as Starscream is concerned, he's facing down an enemy who now has possession of a device that could easily snuff out his existence like a pathetic, guttering candle... but the troll's behavior doesn't match up with what Starscream assumes his motivations to be, and that baffles him.

He laughs nervously, prepared to try and talk his way out of this if need be. "Now, where exactly would you get an idea like that from?"
