Maybe this girl is considered an oddity among her fellow humans, but Arcee...kind of likes her already. Although she finds it a little odd that a human's only frame of reference for mechanical things are objects made by other people. Organics are weird like that.

"If you're in it for making things, then yeah, absolutely." Arcee nods, thinking of some of the scientists, some of the engineers and inventors she's known over the years. Of course, these days most of them have turned their skills to making weapons, artifacts of war, but she's met some truly masterful -- if a littel weird -- inventors. "I think regardless of how it comes about -- whether it's by design or by something less deliberate -- there's...a certain beauty to it. It's different. From the rest of what you find on Earth, I mean."
