If Arcee weren't in her alt mode right now, she might be smiling faintly in spite of herself. He's only proved her point -- it's just the sort of thing she'd expect from Optimus -- and though her spark is heavy still, she feels a sliver of hope peek through. Maybe she's gotten through to him, just a bit.

"I think you have to decide that for yourself," she says honestly. "I think that if you feel like you still need more information, some kind of confirmation, then you should find it.
