Thinking about how he came to be here is a strange mental place. He doesn't fully understand it himself, doesn't grasp the implications - no one ever really gave him the specifics and for some reason he hasn't felt as if he needed them. He was given a new purpose almost as soon as he had awaken, and that was enough.

"I was brought back," he says, distantly. "I have memories of having been somewhere else in those sweeps, but that essence of myself was given life again."
