She blinks out of her thoughts when Katniss speaks to her, and swallows thickly, before giving a brief nod and shuffling backwards on the floor. She was pressed up against the far wall, looking absolutely tiny in the massive cage they'd thrown her in.

Nessa wants to believe her friends. She wants to believe that Cynthia is okay, and that when they'd come for the other girl, they'd left her alone, but she just can't get what Metabee said out of her head. That they were going to get dragged over there sooner or later. Oh god, what if she had been?
