Who: Milly and Starscream
Where: around L.A.
When: March 8th
What: Milly has half of the synth-en formula. Starscream is out to retrieve it. Cyborg vs Cybertronian smackdown of the year!
Warnings: a bit o' robo/cyborg gore, mostly
Milly's been trying not to think too hard about the data drive in her arm, about what it could contain, and for the most part, she's been able to forget it's there -- mostly by keeping herself busy with patrols. Her father had given her the call he'd promised her, but it had been short, abrupt, and she had received the distinct impression that he wouldn't be home for a few days at least. It nags at her, in the pit of her stomach, but she tries not to think about it too much.
Being Starbreaker always makes her feel better, at least. She feels empowered -- in control. It's a good feeling to have right about now, and she even temporarily forgets about the data drive in her arm when she sees some total creep snatch this poor old lady's purse. How dare he!! Okay, it's not supervillain levels of exciting, but Milly is here to protect the weak and abused. She protects the people. And that poor old lady looks so distraught! Well, she can't stand idly by while that's happening.
She flies around the city, trying to track this guy down, but -- he moves fast. She thinks she's got him cornered downtown, but then she spots him several blocks away -- how'd he get over there? Is he superpowered, somehow? More than just your everyday purse snatcher? Milly gets the vague sense that she's being led into a trap, but even in the wake of her crushing defeat at the hands of Signless, she presses on. What kind of hero would she be if she dropped the lead just because this guy might be a little more than your average human? No kind of hero she wants to be, that's for sure.
Milly finally tracks the guy down to an empty playground near the edge of the city. Where is this guy even running? Whatever, she's got his number now! She swoops down to hover in midair in front of him, hands on hips. "All right, thief, I've got you now! Hand back the -- hey! What'd you do with that poor lady's purse?!"
