Who: Ultra Magnus & YOU
Where: Outskirts of LA
When: Day, Early March
What: Ultra Magnus makes an effort to observe the local life forms
Warnings: Nothing I can think of
Despite the feeling that he should attempt to contact Arcee immediately, protocol dictated that he first acquire a local alt mode and ensure the planet would be safe to use as an outpost.
Ultra Magnus had been quite lucky to come across a local vehicle he could scan which matched the size he required for his alt mode, part of a small convoy (possibly military in nature, judging from the uniforms and weaponry). Having spent quite a long time observing the rules of the road before attempting to use the transit systems himself, he had slowly made his way toward one of the larger hubs of civilizations. This was not the first organic planet he had come across in his travels, but it certainly had a particular look and feel he was unfamiliar with.
The downsides of a large alt mode, however, were the difficulty of navigating inner city streets, so he had found a clear concrete space which seemed to reserved for vehicle placement where he could continue to observe the local organic life. Maneuvering into the designated lined spaces (a very clear and uniform grid, this species obviously appreciated order) had been impossible however, and he had grudgingly settled to following the lead of other vehicles in the area and parked as evenly as possible across two of the spaces, facing the main road.
Despite all the effort, the blue assault vehicle sitting unmoving for hours in the city was anything but inconspicuous.

There are enough humans in cars around her to have convinced her that this is a good idea, never mind that she's never tried it and definitely never mind that she doesn't have a car — she's going to try this. It will have to be a car worthy of her, though. Something... flashy, or attractive, or impressive.
When she spots Ultra Magnus's alt mode, she feels pretty confident that she's found it. It's not flashy and it's certainly not attractive, but it looks powerful, and that's appealing. So after a quick glance around, a woman in a sleek dress and clicking heels (stolen, all stolen) strides through the parking lot toward the vehicle, and begins to circle it thoughtfully. Maybe the door is unlocked. ...But where, exactly, is the door?
