"Well, I was a little distracted for a while..." she protests half-heartedly. "And I couldn't take my bow on the plane. Getting it through security and not getting it broken in the process didn't really seem worth it." She smiles faintly, apologetically. "I didn't know you'd be back any time soon."

Also bows do not factor hugely in her fighting style and she's never used one in the field, ever, but... it's nice to have the skill. Just in case.
