Miko's interest in Cynthia's superheroism is certainly a confidence booster, though there's a tinge of bittersweetness whenever her mother comes up in conversation.

"Well...my mom was a superhero," she says, her expression turning a bit solemn, "but she disappeared on a mission a few years ago. After that, I started really learning about all of the cool things she did to help people, and I decided that I wanted to be just like her!" Maybe one day, if she gets good enough, she'll be able to find out what really happened to her mother. Sumia's out there, somewhere; Cynthia can feel it.
