When: This week, after Milly gets back from having her new cybernetic implants installed
What: Milly dropped off the grid for a few days after her fight with Signless while Baelheit fixed her up. Time for her to catch up with people who've been missing her! Feel free to run into Milly even if you don't know her (YET). Milly's still adjusting to her new cyborg parts.
Warnings: it's probably gonna get gay up in here brace yourselves
Being out for three solid days is...disorienting, to say the least. It feels like time travel, but way less cool. Milly's just glad her father at least had the decency to tell her workplace that she'd be gone for a few days, citing a medical emergency, but now her boss is eyeing her cautiously and Milly really wasn't sure how to react to the get well card. She doesn't really have a prepared story, either, but thankfully no one at work seems all that interested in prying so far.
The new cybernetic implants are taking time to get used to, especially the energon infusion system. She'd run out of the lab before her father had a chance to explain, but true to form Baelheit had still sent her a report detailing everything he thought she'd need to know about the new system. She hasn't been able to bring herself to read it yet. She's still mad.
Madder still about the fact that somehow, she came back from that whole ordeal a good inch taller. It's not a huge difference, but it's noticeable enough -- some of Milly's favorite pairs of pants now ride dangerously high above her ankle. Ugh. She's going to have to buy new clothes and everything. How hard is it to make her new legs that are exactly the same as the old ones??

She's not sure what to do at this point, except to try not to get too swamped by feelings of helplessness. oh gosh cynthia!!! i am SO SORRY. i had some unexpected family stuff come up and i didn't have my phone for a few days... so sorry!!!! D: omg and i was supposed to get back to you about sleepover plans, ack... don't worry though i am ok!!!!!

ahh no no it's ok, don't worry about it! i'm just glad you're alright! i kept telling myself that you probably just lost your phone or maybe didn't have any cell reception or something, but i guess i couldn't shake the worry that something bad had happened...i'm really sorry for being such a worrywart :(
